Rainy days call for boudoir that’s French Girl Chic. You can truly find a little piece of Paris in the tiniest of simple things, don’t you think?
I was photographing my beautiful client when she casually looked out the window. What came next makes my heart melt. This little nook of the studio feels very much like a Parisian apartment—especially when it rains. I want to cozy up to these large windows and envelope myself in their warm shadowy glow with a big mug of peppermint tea, or decadent coffee (extra hot, please) this winterlong season ahead.
I got to walk the streets of the Champs-Élysées with my husband almost seven years ago. I’m so hungry to return. It was only 36 hours in Paris. But it was ours. The streets of Champs-Élysées smell of the most exquisite perfumes. A delicious bouquet for the heart, mind, and soul. It’s on my list to go back one day. Until then, there’s always the feeling of Paris in the rain at The Bungalow. These captures express the reason why I chose to specialize in modest boudoir. For me, the boudoir is womanhood represented and respected.
I delight in subtle sensuality and making my clients feel beautiful because to me that’s what they are! I placed my client’s hair in a top knot (as I did bridal hair for many years) and let the moment speak to me. It was all so natural and free…effortless. Gorgeous Makeup by Kim Lopez.
